2018 Farm Bill Almost made it

Well while nothing has changed in Kentucky’s thriving hemp industry a 2018 Farm Bill which could have really made a difference fails. New Your times has a great article on it see “House Farm Bill Collapses Amid Republican Disarray“. It was a 213-198 vote and it was immigration that was the issue. Go figure.
The 2018 Farm Act would simple remove industrial hemp ( THC less than .3%) from controlled substances and let the States legislate the laws that would control its growth and production. The great thing is Kentucky has a sister bill ready to go. Well if first you don’t succeed, try, try again.
